ABOUT
Human Development Society registered under the Karnataka Society Act of 1960, attempts to bring development to rural areas by implementing activities and facilities which encourage the same. HDS currently impacts areas in and around the district of Tumkur, Hasssn, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga and Shivamogga. HDS works by implementing government sanctioned programmes like NABARD, Watershed Management and Water Tank Rehabilitation. HDS promotes the formation of Self Help Groups,Capacity Building Training and Dairy Development Project in various villages and districts of Karnataka. HDS has now started to educate and inform the rural population about the functions of Micro Finance in association with ICICI Bank and SANGHA MITHRA RURAL FINANCE (SRFS) as it will help strengthen the rural population economically.
